The State Fair Community College Foundation’s “Sangria Sunset” event recently raised $73,000 for the college’s technical education facility and programs.
The State Fair Community College Foundation’s annual fundraiser will take place March 10 in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center, featuring live bands and karaoke. The theme this year is Sangria Sunset.
The Paul Klover Soccer Association (PKSA) Inc. has donated $3,000 to the State Fair Community College Foundation for two $1,500 scholarships for SFCC’s women and men’s soccer programs.
State Fair Community College nursing students and faculty recently benefited from a lecture on the Sedalia campus by Michele Wright, a legal nurse consultant, which was underwritten by the Richard and Leora Bremer Endowed Guest Lectureship in Nursing.
The Sedalia Scottish Rite Club presented a check for $30,000 to the State Fair Community College Foundation to establish an endowed scholarship for students pursuing technical careers.
The State Fair Community College Foundation is seeking lip sync battle teams for its “Saturday Night Fever” fundraising event on March 25th, in the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center, on the Sedalia campus.
