Sedalia Police arrested 40-year-old Jordan D. Schutte of Sedalia in the 1000 block of South Kentucky on Friday after executing a search warrant.

Several electronic devices were seized during the search.

A Sedalia Police detective had received a CyberTip concerning Schutte on Aug. 12, which resulted in an investigation that discovered that Schutte allegedly possessed child sexual abuse material.

After being arrested, Schutte was taken to the SPD, where he experienced a medical episode. After being evaluated, Schutte was transported by Pettis County Deputies to the Miller County Jail, where he was booked in Sunday afternoon.
