Sedalia Crews to Mill & Overlay North Grand May 28-31

Beginning on Tuesday, May 28 and continuing through Friday, May 31, the City of Sedalia’s Public Works Operations Division will be milling and overlaying North Grand Avenue from the West Main Street to the intersection of West Henry Street and Martin Luther King Drive.

During this period, road construction will result in the roadway being closed to through traffic.

Residents living along this roadway will need to coordinate with City Crews on site should they need access to their driveways.

Northbound travelers are encouraged to use North Missouri Avenue to access North Ohio Avenue to enter North Highway 65. Southbound travelers are encouraged to use West Henry Street to access North Park Avenue to enter onto West Main Street.

Mill and overlay work will begin each day at 5 a.m., and continue through 7 p.m.

Heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway during this period. Inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion of the project, it was noted.
