Beginning on Wednesday, June 12 and continuing through Friday, June 14, the City of Sedalia’s Public Works Operations Division will conduct a milling project from the intersection of North Engineer Avenue and Reine Avenue, south to the intersection of Tower Avenue and North Engineer Avenue.

During this period, road construction will result in the roadway being closed to through traffic. Drivers in the area will want to use an alternate route to avoid delays.

Residents living along this roadway will need to coordinate with City Crews on site should they need access to their driveways. Mill work will begin each day at 5 a.m., and continue through 7 p.m.

Heavy equipment and workers will be present in the roadway during this period. Inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion.

The City announced that an asphalt project will take place June 17-21 at that same location.
