Pettis County Deputies spotted an individual Saturday evening who they knew to have a warrant for his arrest, and also had a suspended driving status.

Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle in the area of US 50 and Oak Grove Lane.

The vehicle continued to drive approximately 4/10ths of a mile until it finally came to a stop in the 3800 block of West Broadway Boulevard.

The subject, Louis Davis, 39, of Sedalia, then continuously began to refuse to exit the vehicle or provide any documentation to Deputies. Upon additional Deputies arriving at the location, Davis eventually exited the vehicle and was taken into custody.

Davis was then transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked in on his warrant for Driving While Revoked. Davis was held on a 24-hour hold, pending formal charges of Resisting Arrest and Driving While Revoked.
