Sedalia Man Charged With Sex Crimes Near Head Start

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Missouri Valley Community Action Agency Head Start at 700 Martin Luther King Junior Drive in reference to a sex crime on Friday afternoon.

Employees at Head Start called and said a male exposed himself to the employees and the children through the windows of the building while in the parking lot.

The subject was apprehended nearby and taken into custody.

18-year-old Justin R. Rogers of Sedalia, was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hour hold, pending state charges of Sexual Misconduct Involving a Juvenile, Sexual Misconduct in the 1st Degree, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
