Sedalia Man Sentenced to 5 Years for Child Sex Crimes
A 56-year old Sedalia man was recently sentenced to spend 5 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for child sex crimes that occurred in July 2017.
Quintin L. Long was arrested last July after admitting to engaging in sex acts with a child.
According to the original police report, a forensic interview was conducted at Child Safe, where the juvenile victim made a full and complete disclosure.
On Monday (May 7), Long was sentenced in the Pettis County Courthouse for 2nd Degree Statutory Sodomy and 4th Degree Child Molestation.
According to court documents, Long pleaded guilty to the charges in March 2018.
He was sentenced to five years for the sodomy charge and four years for the molestation charge. The sentences will run concurrently.
