A Sedalia man was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred last night in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2022 Caterpillar C9.3 was left stationary in the roadway at McVey Road and South Marshall around 11:45 p.m., when a westbound 1996 Toyota Corolla, driven by 54-year-old Christopher Hellesvig of Sedalia, topped a hill and struck the Caterpillar.

Hellesvig suffered moderate injuries, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by PCAD for treatment.
