The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, August 5, 2014.

Several Thefts Reported

Sedalia Police received a report, this morning (Aug. 5) at 1:16, that someone stole items from a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. The man said that he returned to report the theft to Walmart and then found that his vehicle had moved from the original parking location.

A woman in the 6300 Block of Bluebird Circle reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole her purse and speaker from her vehicle.

A man in the 300 Block of North Summit reported to Sedalia Police that there were two extension cords that were stolen from his yard.

An employee of Break Time a 318 West Broadway, reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $34 gas drive off.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke his driver side window on his truck.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole or he lost his Missouri license plate in the 1300 Block of West 5th.

A woman in the 300 Block of South Ohio reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her license plate.

Sedalia Police Investigate An Assault

Pettis County Deputies received a report of an assault in the 4200 Block of West Main Street on August 1.

A 26-inch camouflage colored Jeep Freedom bicycle was found in the area of 3rd and Limit.

Two Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Brittany Miller for possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear out of Johnson County, bond set at $50 for the failure to appear charge.

Sedalia Police arrested Charles Morris for driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child in the 2nd degree.
