Saturday afternoon, Sedalia Police received a 911 call in regard to a woman that was underwater in a backyard pool. The last person to see her had left an hour before, and when they came back she was at the bottom of the pool. Personnel from the Sedalia Police Department, Sedalia Fire Department, and APSI, rushed to the scene and attempted to revive her on the way to the hospital. There was no further information available at press time as to confirmation of her condition.

A woman in the 4100 Block of West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that the driver's side window was broken out of her vehicle between 8 and 9 Saturday night.

A man in the 2200 Block of West 1st reported to Sedalia Police somebody stole his cell phone on June 7.

A woman in the 900 Block of Winchester Drive reported to Sedalia Police that her purse was stolen from her car between June 5 and 7.

Saturday evening, Sedalia Police went to the 900 Block of South Vermont for a report of barking dogs. Sedalia Police located the dogs in question, but no one was at home. The caller wanted to sign a complaint form for the barking dogs. A report has been made for a follow up by animal control.

Sedalia Police arrested Melinda Lamb for having a warrant, bond set at $200 cash and a probation violation, bond set at $25,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Daniel Brown for having two warrants, bond set at $213 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Lela Jackson for failure to appear/backfines for driving while intoxicated, bond set at $50.

Sedalia Police arrested Dawn Showman for felony leaving the scene of an accident/careless and imprudent driving.

Sedalia Police arrested Kelly Buckner for resisting arrest.

Sedalia Police arrested Robert Billups for driving while suspended.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Brandon Paxton for a theft that occurred in the 4500 Block of South Limit.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Scott Thomas of Sweet Springs for leaving the scene of an accident.

Pettis County Deputies arrested David Pichinevsky for being a minor in possession of intoxicates by consumption while operating a motor vehicle.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Nicole Vanhook for a pending arrest warrant.
