The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Deparment Reports are from the morning of Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013.

Sedalia S.T.I.N.G. Units Serves Search Warrant

Yesterday (Jan. 16), The Sedalia Strike Team Investigations of Narcotics and Gangs (S.T.I.N.G) Unit served a search warrant at 1900 South Quincy. The S.T.I.N.G. Unit found meth, prescription pills, drug packaging materials, a digital scale and drug paraphernalia in the home. Two suspects were arrested. 22-year-old Cody Loveless was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, manufacturing of a controlled substance with in 2000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia. 23-year-old Amanda Bobbitt was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both suspects were transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on 24-hour hold pending prosecutorial review of charges applied for.

Yesterday (Jan. 16), Pettis County Deputies arrested 42-year-old Kimberly J. Morrison for burglary. Morrison's arrest came following an investigation into the burglary of a residence on Tanglenook Run in Pettis County.  Morrison is currently being held in the Pettis County Jail with bond set at $5,000.

A woman in the 300 Block of West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that there was a theft from her bank account in October of 2010.

The office manager of ACR of Sedalia at 1609 South Missouri reported the theft of a license plate from one of their business trucks.

Yesterday (Jan. 16), Pettis County Deputies received a report from a man that he was bitten by a stray cat while at his residence in the 200 Block of West Green Street in Smithton.

Sedalia Police arrested Holly Sprinkle for having a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $5,000 cash/surety
