Sedalia Police reports 7-4-19

Sedalia Police conducted a vehicle check at Menard's, 4400 Wisconsin on Sunday at 1:30 a.m. A computer check revealed the car was stolen out of Columbia. The car was occupied by three juveniles. One was released to a parent, the other two were taken to the SPD and released to a juvenile officer.


 

Sedalia Police took a report at LeMaire's after it was discovered that someone cut the locks off an electrical breaker that controls the outdoor freezer at the business and turned the power off. The incident occurred between 9 p.m. Sunday and 9:45 a.m. Monday.


 

On June 29, a man reported the theft of a lawnmower and trailer from the 1000 block of South Vermont. The victim is willing to assist with prosecution.


 

Sedalia Police responded to a cal of suspicious activity behind a house in the 150 block of Autumn Avenue on June 28 around 5:40 p.m. The suspect, 30-year-old Tyler L. Jones of Sedalia was found hiding in a shed located on the Smith-Cotton practice field. A computer check revealed he was wanted on a Pettis County warrant. Jones was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On July 1, an employee of Domino's Pizza, 3200 South Limit, reported the theft of $56 from an unlocked vehicle while it was parked and the driver was waiting to pick up the next delivery around midnight.
