Sedalia Police Department Crime Reports for Dec. 17, 2018
On Sunday (Dec 16), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the area of E. 3rd Street and S. Engineer Ave for a report of an intoxicated man driving a motorcycle. He was also wanted on a Pettis County warrant for Trespassing. Officers made contact with 39-year old Travis Eugene Ballew and arrested him. Ballew was taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond of $1,500.00.
On Thursday (Dec 13), Sedalia Police arrested 30-year old Chasidy Faith Perez in the 400 block Alright Court for a Pettis County warrant. Perez was taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond of $100,000.00.
On Friday (Dec 14), Sedalia Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart at 3201 W. Broadway for report of shoplifting. According to the report, two suspects entered the store and filled a shopping cart with 169 items. The suspects pushed the cart outside and fled before officers arrived. The incident is under investigation.
