On Tuesday (March 26), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of E. 18th Street for a report of a civil issue. Upon arrival, officers ran two subjects' information through dispatch and confirmed that one of the subject's, 28-year old Csena Dove Silkwood, had three Pettis County warrants. Silkwood was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a total bond of $28,000.00.


On Monday (March 25), Sedalia Police took a burglary report in the 1400 block of W. 3rd Street. The victim stated that the suspect(s) damaged two doors to gain entry to the residence. Stolen was a 50-inch Samsung TV. No further details were available in the report.


On March 21, a complainant stated that Lowe's store had discovered a mass case of refund fraud, some of which reportedly extended to the Sedalia location. The incident in Sedalia occurred on Feb. 20, 2019. A suspect was identified but no further information was available in the report.
