Sedalia Police Department Crime Reports for September 9, 2016
Just after 3:30 Friday morning (Sept 9), Sedalia Police officers conducted a traffic stop near East 7th Street and South Emmet Avenue, for a vehicle that had defective rear license plate lights. An investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. 39-year old Crystal Gail Vansel, of Smithton, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail.
On Thursday (Sept 8), officers were dispatched to the Parole and Probation office for a male subject with a Pettis County warrant, for assault. 48-year old Patrick Neil Kreisel was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond set at $1,500.00 cash or surety.
On Thursday (Sept 8), officers took a theft report in the 1900 block of South Limit. The victim stated his scooter had been stolen, from the 1600 block of West 11th Street. The estimated value of the scooter is placed at $650.00. There are no suspects at this time.
