On Monday at 7:38 p.m., Sedalia Police responded to 601 E. 14th on a report of a male refusing to leave after being told by security to do so. The male, identified as 53-year-old Dale Wade Walker of Kansas City, was arrested for 1st degree trespassing. He was then taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and held on a 24-hour hold.


 

On Monday at 6:41 p.m., Sedalia Police and the K-9 Unit responded to the 3000 block of Clinton Road for a suspicious package. K-9 Rocky alerted on the package for a controlled substance. Officers took the package into evidence, and no contact was made with the suspect at the time of the report.


 

On Monday at 7:20 p.m., Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 800 block of East 6th. The warrant was confirmed, and 29-year-old Akeisha Denise Sims of the address, was taken into custody and arrested without incident. Sims was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a $1500 cash or surety bond on the warrant.
