Early Tuesday morning, Officers responded to the Scott Joplin Court for a report of a domestic disturbance. Following an investigation, one of the subjects involved was arrested for Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree. Devin D. Bratton, 34, of Sedalia, was transported to the Pettis County Jail where she was placed on a 24 hour hold pending the filing of the Domestic Assault charge.


 

Monday evening, Sedalia Police observed a suspect walking on the Missouri State Fairgrounds. Officers had prior knowledge of a warrant for the suspect. Officers made contact with the suspect, and a computer check revealed the warrant. The warrant was from the City of Sedalia for three counts of Failure to Appear on a Probation Violation and one count of Failure to Appear on Expired Plates. Dione Nicole Srader, 35, of Sedalia, was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Bond was set at $100 and Srader was given a court date.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 3200 block of West Broadway for a property damage complaint Monday night. Officers met with Sarah C. Townley at a nearby business, who advised that an occupant in the vehicle parked next to her had opened their door and damaged the side of her vehicle. The caller was present when the incident happened, but did not make contact with the other party at that time.


 

Officers responded to the 1400 block of East 14th Street for a report of found property Monday afternoon. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with a subject who stated he located a bag of drug paraphernalia while working on a rental property. The paraphernalia was seized and placed into evidence.


 

Monday morning, Sedalia Police responded to the 500 block of East 13th for a report of trespassing and property damage. Officers arrived, detaining the suspect, Randall Aaron Dotson, 39, of Sedalia, near the scene. During the investigation, it was found Dotson had been previously trespassed from the property. It was also found when Dotson arrived that morning, he used a truck to ram a privacy fence, damaging it. During the investigation it was also learned damage had been caused to a neighbor's property within the last 28 hours by Dotson as well. The value of the property damage is approximately $190.00 between the two properties. Dotson was arrested without incident and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24 hour hold pending the filing of formal charges of Property Damage in the 2nd Degree and Trespassing in the 1st Degree.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to an accident which had just occurred at the intersection of South Washington and East 17th Street Monday morning. In the course of working the accident, Officers found that one of the involved drivers didn't have a valid driver's license. Alejo E. Gonzalez, 32, of Sedalia, was transported to the Sedalia Police Department where fingerprints were taken. Gonzalez was issued a citation for Driving Without a Driver's License and given a court date.


 

Monday morning, Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Ohio for a theft from a vehicle. Upon arrival Officers spoke with Matthew L. Hammer, who stated all four of his hubcaps were stolen from his vehicle, which was parked on the street. The value of the hubcaps was $80.00, according to Hammer. At the time of the report, a suspect has not been identified.


 

On the afternoon of August 13th, a vehicle stop was conducted in the 2100 block of West Broadway for improper vehicle registration. The operator, Timothy Wood, was known to have a revoked operator's status. During the stop, the registration was confirmed improper and Wood's driving status was revoked. Wood was arrested without incident and transported to the Pettis County Jail for Driving While Revoked.


 

Last Thursday evening, Officers responded to the intersection of South Kentucky and West Broadway Boulevard for a motor vehicle accident. A computer check through dispatch confirmed one driver to operating a vehicle with no operator's status. Isael Fernando Dominguez, 32, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Sedalia Police Department to be fingerprinted. He was issued a citation for No Operator's License and given a court date.
