Sedalia Police Reports For August 4, 2020
This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department reports. Monday morning, a cellphone was found in the 300 block of South Lamine Avenue. Ownership of the cellphone isn't known at the time of the report. The cellphone was placed into evidence as found property.
Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Moniteau Avenue for a report of a possible disturbance Monday evening. Patrick J. Powen reported property missing from the residence. It was determined that Powen had been absent from the property for an extended period of time, during which his property was taken or disposed of by his wife. Powen also believed he was the owner of the real property, but it was determined that he was not the current owner.
Early Tuesday morning, a traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of West Broadway Boulevard and South Limit Avenue. Following the investigation at the scene, the license plates on the vehicle were found to be improperly displayed. The license plates were seized and will be returned to the Department of Revenue.
