Thursday night, Officers came upon a disturbance in the 400 block of Albright Court while handling a separate incident. It was later discovered a male subject punched a female subject and caused injury to her while trying to steal a Chewbacca mask from her. Christopher Edward Demus, 30, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Demus was placed on a 24 hour hold pending state charges of Robbery in the 2nd Degree, 3rd Degree Assault, Burglary in the 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest.


 

Early Friday morning, Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had no license plate and was driving on the fog line. Officers made contact with the driver, and she gave consent to search the vehicle. Officers then asked the passenger to exit the vehicle. During the search, Officers located approximately 6.4 grams of Methamphetamine, 4 syringes, and 14 small bags in the passenger's bag. The passenger consented to a search of his phone, which showed the suspect was selling Methamphetamine. Robert James Weisner, 37, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hour hold. A request for charges of Distribution of a Dangerous Drug, Possession of a Dangerous Drug, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia has been submitted.


 

Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West 10th in reference to a vehicle theft by a family member Thursday night. The vehicle was returned shortly after the Officers were called, and the vehicle owner did not want to pursue criminal charges.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to a subject check on Albright Court Thursday night. When Officers arrived, they spoke with the caller who said a man in a dress had been looking in windows. The caller said the man took his dress off before leaving the area. The caller said the subject was currently wearing a bra and jeans. Police located the suspect walking near Saline and Mill. The suspect was identified and it was discovered he had an outstanding no bond felony Failure to Appear warrant from Pettis County for Probation Violation on an original charge of Violation of a Court order. Koehn L. Isenberg, 26, of Sedalia, was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked on his warrant.


 

Thursday night, Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of West 11th for a 911 call. While speaking with the subject, he hit a law enforcement officer and then started hitting the officer's patrol vehicle. Christopher A. Judkins, 30, of Sedalia, was arrested for Assault in the 4th Degree and Attempted Property Damage in the 2nd Degree.


 

Early Friday morning, Officers were dispatched to the Casey's store on South Limit in reference to a juvenile runaway. When Officers arrived, they spoke with the caller, April Dawn Whitney, who said her 12 year old son had runaway Thursday afternoon and still was not home. The caller did not have any idea where the juvenile was. The juvenile was entered as a missing person.


 

Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 600 block of East 16th Street for a report of domestic assault Thursday afternoon. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with a victim who stated that he got into an argument with his brother's girlfriend, who lives in his house. The victim stated that the female ended up hitting him with an empty phone box. Stephanie Gree, 25, of Sedalia, was located and arrested for Domestic Assault in the 4th Degree.


 

Thursday morning, Officers met with a subject in the lobby of the Police Department in reference to a theft and forgery. Regina Taylor stated she recently discovered several checks had been stolen from her and the suspect forged her signature on them. Various people known to the suspect were then attempting to pass them, though it's believed they were unaware the checks were forged. At the time of the report, there is a suspect, but contact has not been made with him.


 

Officers responded to the 1000 block of East 13th Street in reference to a theft Wednesday evening. Upon arrival, Officers met with Darin Shull, who stated a generator had been stolen from the back yard of his residence. At the time of the report, a suspect has not been identified.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 400 block of East Chestnut in reference to a theft Thursday morning. Upon arrival, Officers met with Jimmy Sanders, who stated someone entered his vehicle during the overnight hours and stole his wallet, which contained cash and several various cards. At the time of the report, there was no suspect information.


 

Thursday morning, Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of West 10th in reference to a property damage report. Joseph Hulsey reported that between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, one of the windows on his pickup was broken in an attempt to steal from it.
