On Wednesday night, Pettis County Joint Communications received a call for service concerning a robbery in the 1100 block of South Missouri Avenue.

After concluding the sentencing, the defendant chose to plead guilty to an additional matter that was pending for possession of a controlled substance within the Pettis County Jail.

The Jury found Thomas guilty as charged on all counts.

On July 13 around 7 a.m., a search warrant was served at 21847 Ionia Road in Pettis County.

Angel Escobar, 23, of Sedalia and Aja Vannoy, 26 of Sedalia were arrested. Charges of Assault 1st, Assault 2nd and Robbery are being requested for both suspects.
