Early Thursday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a non-street legal homemade motorized tricycle in the area of West 32nd Street and South Stewart Avenue. The driver had a revoked driving status. Gary G. Brown Jr., 54, of Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Revoked. Brown was issued a citation and released on scene with a court date.


 

Wednesday night, Officers observed a vehicle being driven westbound near the area of West Broadway boulevard and South Limit Avenue that did not have headlights on. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle, where the driver stated the headlights do not work. After a computer check of the driver’s information, it was discovered he had a suspended driving privilege. Richard Pascual, 23, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of Driving While Suspended. Pascual was taken to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration Wednesday night. The stop was conducted near the intersection of West 20th Street and South Grand Avenue. Officers identified the driver, and discovered he did not have a valid driver’s license. Brock J. Howe, 21, of Sedalia, was arrested on a charge of Operator’s License Required, Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, and Expired Registration. Howe was released on scene after the citations were issued.

Officers stopped a vehicle near the intersection of South Ohio Avenue and West 16th Street after recognizing the driver as having a warrant for their arrest. Dispatch confirmed the warrant Wednesday afternoon. The warrant was issued in September 2023 after the driver was cited for driving 114 MPH in a 65 MPH zone. Jason T. Argenbright, 49, of Sedalia, was arrested for his Failure to Appear warrant on an original charge of Speeding (26 MPH or More). Argenbright was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked in pending a $350 cash only bond.


 

Wednesday afternoon, Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of South Washington Avenue to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance. A physical fight had occurred, but a primary physical aggressor could not be determined.


 

Officers took a report of a past hit and run accident in the 1500 block of South Grand Avenue. There is some suspect information.
