Wednesday night Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of West 2nd and South Prospect for a license violation.  A search of both occupants was conducted and the passenger was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and a glass methamphetamine pipe.  Miguel Angel Zaragoza, 53, of Sedalia was arrested for felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


 

Wednesday afternoon, Shawna L. Sapaugh reported property damage to Officers in the Lobby of the Police Department.  Sapaugh stated that on June 8th her vehicle, a 2018 Dodge Challenger, was damaged while parked in the 1700 block of South Lafayette.  Officers observed the vehicle had a deep scratch on the driver door.  At the time of the report, the suspect has not been identified.
