Sedalia Police have released the following reports for May 10, 2016:

On the evening of May 9, Cassie M. Clemons, 19, of the 1300 block of South Carr, was arrested for failure to obey and resisting arrest. The report said that Sedalia Police and a Pettis County deputy stopped the vehicle near Broadway and Park in an effort to locate a suspect in another case. During the incident, Clemons was arrested for interfering with an investigation. She was later released on a summons.

Luke Anthony Vradenburg, 56, of the 700 block of 11th Street, was arrested on possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and failure to keep an Schedule II narcotic in its original container. Police responded to the address in an attempt to arrest a subject on an active warrant. According to the report, police arrested the subject without incident, but afterwards, officers spoke with the homeowner (Vradenburg) on the front porch, and discovered a glass pipe commonly used for smoking methamphetamine, which fell out of his pocket.

Esther Renee Chastain, of the 700 block of E. 10th, reported the theft of a Jensen CD player from her truck on Monday sometime before 8 a.m. There was damage done to the truck, the report said.

The Buckle, 890 Thompson Blvd., reported the theft of a Guess purse valued at $128 from the store on Monday morning. Police are reviewing security footage of the incident and suspect information.

The Sunrise Cafe, 111 S. Grand, reported property damage involving a large broken window at the business that occurred sometime before Monday at 5:30 a.m. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
