Monday evening, Sedalia Police responded to the 3200 block of West Broadway for a report of a stolen vehicle that was located. The vehicle that had been located was reported stolen through the Pettis County Sheriff's Office days prior. Officers confirmed that the vehicle was the same vehicle and Pettis County Sheriff's Office responded to investigate further.

Tuesday morning a traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of South Missouri and West 3rd. Through the investigation, the driver was found to be possession of marijuana while drive and also had an active Pettis County warrant for Failure to Appear for Marijuana Possession and Speeding. The suspect, Gary A. McKinsey, 20, of Sedalia, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Bond on the warrant was set at $149 cash only and the additional charges are being referred to the state Prosecutor.

Officers were dispatched to the area of 12th and Moniteau Monday morning for a report of a subject with a felony Probation Violation warrant with no bond. Police located the suspect in the 1200 block of South Moniteau, made contact, and confirmed the warrant. After confirmation, the suspect, Joshua J. Gresham, 35, of Sedalia, refused to get out of the vehicle to be taken into custody. After trying to de-escalate the situation, Gresham became aggressive and Corporal Benner deployed his TAZER. Gresham was placed in handcuffs and the Pettis County Ambulance District was notified. After Gresham was treated, he was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hold for resisting arrest.

On Monday, Sedalia Police observed a blue Kia driving West on West Broadway. Officers were familiar with the driver, Angela Ilene Teeter, 40, of Sedalia, and knew her driving privilege was revoked. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of West Broadway and South Park, and approached the vehicle to make contact with the driver and a passenger. Dispatch confirmed Teeter's driving privilege was revoked and also advised that the passenger, Jackie Wayne Hensley, Sr., 58, of Sedalia, had an active Moniteau County Probation Violation warrant. Teeter was arrested for Driving While Revoked, state charges pending. Hensley was arrested for the Moniteau County warrant, with no bond set.
