Monday night Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of East Broadway and South Summit for a license violation. The driver of the vehicle was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and a glass pipe. Bradley Mitchell Lawson, 31, of Sedalia, was arrested for felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of  Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


Sunday evening, Officers responded to the intersection of Main and West Broadway in regards to found property. The property was taken to the Police Department and the owner has been identified but not contacted.  No further details were in the report.

Officers conducted a warrant check on a subject in 1500 block of South Missouri Monday afternoon.  An Officer with the Parole District 29 of Sedalia called and was following one of their subjects who had an active warrant for Parole Violation. The subject was located and the warrant was confirmed active.  Sherwood Kearby Limback, 54, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


Sedalia Police were checking a parking lot in the 3400 block of West Broadway early Monday morning, when Officers located a white U-Haul truck that was reported stolen from Springfield, Missouri. The stolen entry was confirmed through the Springfield Police Department and contact was made with the rental business. The vehicle was recovered and towed to the local U-Haul location. Suspect information was developed and was passed on to the original investigating agency.
