Sedalia Police Reports: Thursday, May 17th

Last night, Sedalia Police observed two unsupervised, small children, on a sidewalk near 14^th and South Barrett. Sedalia Police found that the kids lived a few blocks away. The children were returned to the residence and their mother was contacted. A child abuse hotline call was also made to further investigate the situation.

Last night, Sedalia Police went to the Eagle Crest Apartments in the 500 Block of South State Fair Boulevard in reference to a suicidal subject. Sedalia Police made contact with the subject and determined that the unnamed person was not a danger to himself.

Last night, Sedalia Police went to the 400 Block of North Hurley for a report of theft. Sometime between September of 2011 and May 15^th, someone stole a necklace, seven DVDs, two pairs of jeans, and a shirt. All the items were valued at $490.

Sedalia Police arrested Lara Chalfant and Reynaldo Vega for failure to appear, bond set for both of them is set at $88.50 cash.
