Sedalia Woman Injured in Lafayette County Wreck

A Sedalia woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred in Lafayette County Wednesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrols reports that a westbound 2017 Chevy Cruz, driven by 38-year-old Angela D. Esser of Sedalia, was on I-70 at the 54.4 mile marker at 8:16 a.m., when the vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a guardrail end.

Esser suffered minor injuries, and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment by Concordia EMS.

The Chevy had moderate damage, and was towed from the scene.
