A Sedalia driver ended upside down after she swerved to avoid a deer on Friday evening.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 24-year-old Kara I. Eppenauer of Sedalia was the driver of a westbound 2005 Buick LaSabre on Route V, 120 feet west of Van Dyke Road, when she swerved to miss a deer, traveled off the left side of the road and into a ditch, where she struck an embankment around 8 p.m. The vehicle then returned to the roadway, overturned and slid across the road, coming to rest off the right side of the roadway.
