Sewer Main Work to Cause Lane Restrictions Thursday & Friday

A new sewer main extension will require East 16th Street at its intersection with South Monroe Avenue to be restricted on the west side of the intersection to a single lane of traffic on Thursday, Nov. 11, according to Sedalia Public Works Director Brenda Ardrey.
On Fri., Nov. 12, from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., East 16th will be closed to all traffic at the same location, the west side of its intersection with S. Monroe Ave. Travelers are encouraged to find an alternate route during this period to avoid delays in their travel plans.

The work is weather and equipment dependent and as such may be affected by inclement weather or equipment breakdowns, Ardrey noted.
