SFCC Lady Roadrunners Basketball Adds Traore

State Fair Community College Lady Roadrunners Basketball head coach Kevin Bucher has announced the final student-athlete to the 2017-2018 recruiting class.

Nafissa Traore is a 6’4’’ center who played basketball for head coach Van Whitfield at Capitol Christian Academy in Upper Malboro, Maryland.

Traore averaged six points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots per game as a senior.
“Nafissa is a raw post player who was double and triple teamed in high school,” said Bucher. “Her stats are kind of deceiving. She has Division I size and athletic ability, and now it’s all about putting it together. We are happy to welcome Nafissa to the team; she will be a fun player to watch develop."
