SFCC’s The LearningForce to Offer Intro to Drones Class

The LearningForce at SFCC will offer an Introduction to Drones class on September 29.

Aerial robots, aka drones, are becoming popular as a hobby to take pictures and videos, and for business to monitor livestock and crops or market real estate.

The class will take place at State Fair Communtiy College in the Potter-Ewing Agriculture Building.

SFCC says instructor Brad Driskill will offer guidance on purchasing a drone, operating it safely and Federal Aviation Administration rules for operating a drone. Participants will receive classroom instruction and hands-on practice.

The cost is $79.00 per person.
