SH baseball pounds Vikings for 21-0 Win

Sacred Heart baseball beat La Monte 21-0 in four innings Thursday on the road.

Carter Rice and Alex Karigan combined for a no-hitter on the mound.

The Gremlins collected 18 hits on the day.  Carter Rice, Gavin Caldwell, Tanner Damlo, George Bain IV, Caden Crooker and Connor Rice all had multiple hits for Sacred Heart.

They also stole 11 bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Crooker led the way with four.

Sacred Heart (3-2) will play La Monte (1-4) again on Tuesday, April 12 at Liberty Park.

The Grems travel to Otterville (0-2) April 13.
