SH Lady Softball Falls To Sweet Springs, 13-2, To End Season

The Sacred Heart Lady Gremlins lost a heartbreaker, 13-2, to the Sweet Springs Lady Greyhounds in Class 1, District 7 quarterfinals on May 11.

The game was tied at two with the Lady Greyhounds (with Malta Bend) batting in the top of the fourth inning when they homered, scoring four runs.

Zoe Martin and Keely Elwell combined in the circle, striking out five on the night.

Abby Arnold, Kiley Beykirch, Emma Siron, Zoe Martin, Karen Cisneros and Keely Elwell each collected a hit in the game.

This concludes the Sacred Heart Gremlins' softball season, finishing with an 8-7 record overall.

Sweet Springs ended their season 7-10.
