The Jasper Eagles beat Sacred Heart/Northwest 60-40, Friday night in the Class 1, District 1, eight-man football state tournament held at Hughesville.

Leading offensive players included Tanner Damlo with 261 yards on 33 carries with 4 touchdowns.

Tanner was 12 of 25, passing for 152 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Nick Crosswhite had 5 catches for 110 yards and a touchdown.

Ian Smith had 4 catches for 35 yards and a touchdown.

Issac Niethers had a catch for 2 yards and a PAT catch.

Jason Boss had a catch for 5 yards and a PAT catch.

Leading defensive players included Caden Crooker with 19 tackles and a fumble recovery.

Nick Crosswhite had 9 tackles and 2 fumble recoveries.

Ian Smith 5 tackles.

With the loss, the Mustangs drop to 5 and 2 in their final game of the season. Jasper is 6-4.
