SH Volleyball Eliminates Green Ridge In District 14 Play

Sacred Heart varsity volleyball faced Green Ridge in the first round of Class 1 District 14 play and beat the Tigers in three sets, 25-15, 25-15, 25-10. 

Senior Kiley Beykirch had 36 assists, 10 digs, 4 kills and 1 ace.

Junior Mariana Restrepo found her sweet spot at the net and recorded 10 kills on offense and 4 digs defensively.

Junior Emma Siron had 18 kills and 10 digs.

This brings their season record to 28-8-1.

Next the Gremlins will face Concordia (21-3-2) in the semifinals on Monday, Oct. 25 at Santa Fe (Alma) at 7 p.m.

Green Ridge is now 8-12-2.

Sectionals begin Oct. 30.
