SH/NW Football Defeats Pleasant Hope

Sacred Heart/Northwest football defeated Pleasant Hope, 94-50, Friday night.

Leading offensive players included: Tanner Damlo 183 yards on 11 carries with 5 touchdowns and 3 PATs, Ian Smith 169 yards on 13 carries with 3 touchdowns and 5 PATs, Jason Boss 69 yards on 5 carries with 1 touchdown and 1 PAT, Tanner Damlo was 11 of 15 passing for 133 yards and 3 touchdowns, he also passed for 2 PATs, Nick Crosswhite had 55 yards on 5 catches with 1 touchdown and a PAT catch, Jason Boss had 39 yards on 3 catches with 1 touchdown, Ian Smith had a 30 yards touchdown catch, Issac Neithers had 9 yards on 2 catches and a PAT catch

Leading defensive players included: Caden Crooker had 29 tackles, Nick Crosswhite had 13 tackles, Ian Smith had nine tackles, Jason Boss, Jace Bales,Tanner Damlo and Issac Neithers each had seven tackles with Jason Boss intercepting a pass and also intercepting a PAT pass.

With the win, the Mustangs improve to 4 and 1 for the season. They next play Keytesville (0-5) on Friday, Oct. 9 for Homecoming.
