The Show-Me Master Gardeners of Pettis County will host a Fall Plant Sale on Saturday, September 14, in the Missouri Extension Center lobby.

Items for sale include house plants, MO wildflowers, daylilies, autumn joy sedums, columbine and miscellaneous perennials.
The sale will take place from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the extension office, located at 1012A, Thompson Blvd, in Sedalia.
The proceeds will help support Pettis County gardening projects, such the Katy Depot Native Plant Garden, Missouri State Bothwell Historic Site gardens and the Maple Leaf Park garden, along with 4-H Club and State Fair Community College scholarships.
All plants, books and miscellaneous gardening items are donated by the Show-Me Master Gardeners of Pettis County.
The Show-Me Master Gardeners help sponsor and teach the county 4-H gardening program, as well as fund two scholarships to State Fair Community College, maintain the Gardening Hotline at the Extension Office, hosting answer tables at the AG Expo, along with Sutherland's Spring Plant Sales and the Missouri State Fair Floriculture building.
Last year, the group donated about 20,000 volunteer hours.
The Show-Me Master Gardeners of Pettis County meet the third Tuesday of the month at the Extension Office classroom.
The public is invited to attend the meetings and presentations from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
