This weekend, October 18 - October 19, is homecoming for Smith-Cotton High School and they have several events planned for students, alumni and the community throughout the weekend:

  • Homecoming Parade - Hosted by the Smith-Cotton Student Council the homecoming parade is at 3:00PM CDT Friday through downtown Sedalia.
  • Tailgate - The Sedalia School District Foundation is throwing a tailgate party from from 5:00PM- 7:00PM CDT Friday in the gym. Alumni, students, parents and the community are all welcome. Donations will be accepted. The Smith-Cotton Marching band will perform at 6:00PM CDT.
  • Football Game - The Tigers take on the Clinton Cardinals at 7:00PM CDT Friday Night in Tiger Stadium.
  •  Breakfast - 7:30AM - 9:30AM CDT there is a pancake breakfast at Smith-Cotton Junior High School. Additionally there will be an open house and future alumni performances. Pancake breakfast tickets are $5.00 and will be available at the door.
  • High School Tours - Tour Smith-Cotton High School between 9:30AM - 11:30AM
  • Homecoming Weekend Color Run - Horace Mann Elementary PTA are hosting a color run at the Sedalia Middle School Track. Check in is at 10:00AM, the run begins at 11:00AM. Cost is $25.00. More information on the run can be found here.
