Smith-Cotton High senior Macey Hoover has accepted a scholarship to perform with the Chamber Choir and Jazz Choir at State Fair Community College.

Hoover performed with the Broadway Velocity, Cabaret and New Score show choirs during her S-C career. She was selected to the Missouri Choral Directors Association All-State Show Choir in 2017 and was named the S-C Vocal Music Department’s Outstanding Vocalist in 2018.

S-C Director of Vocal Music Anna Wooderson said, “This student has an effortless, natural vocal talent that offers flexibility in performing a variety of musical genre including country, pop, choral, musical theater and contest literature. She has a positive outlook on life that has blessed the S-C Vocal Music Department. She sets a very high level of character in a competitive vocal performance setting and that is a gift."
