Smith-Cotton Swimmers Take Fifth at Tiger Invitational

The Smith-Cotton boys swimming and diving team took fifth place in the Tiger Invitational on Saturday at Joseph Arbisi Memorial Pool.

Rockhurst won the meet, edging out Blue Springs South. Platte County was third and Rock Bridge took fourth.

S-C's Jeremy Acosta won the 100-yard butterfly event in 55.91 seconds. He also was second in the 100-yard backstroke. Teammate Clay Pilliard was second in the 500-yard freestyle.
