‘Sons of the Pioneers’ Featured Performers at Sedalia Symphony Concert
The Sedalia Symphony will present its fall concert at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 6 at the Heckart Performing Arts Center on the Smith-Cotton High School campus.
The symphony is welcoming the return of the Sons of the Pioneers, the most decorated group in the history of western music that has earned membership into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
The Sedalia Symphony will perform their own western music, featuring Aaron Copland’s “Corral Nocturne” and “Hoe-Down” from Rodeo, and the ensembles will once again collaborate on some of their most iconic songs together.
Join the symphony as they kick off their special celebration of America’s 250th birthday with western music. And you are urged to wear your cowboy hat and boots for an extra prize.
Season tickets are $65 (Seniors ages 60 and above are $50)
