PALMYRA, Mo. (AP) — After 178 years, St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Palmyra is closed. About 50 people attended the final service at the church Sunday morning. The church was down to only four elderly members and had not had services for several years. The members and others occasionally met in private home. Most of the church's belongings were transferred to its sister church, Trinity Episcopal, in Hannibal.
