Stephen Joe Larsen, 65

Stephen Joe Larsen, 65, of Otterville, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2014, at his home.

He was born December 28, 1948, in Parsons, KS, son of Melvin and Marjorie Manners Larsen, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Larsen was a Union meat cutter. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

Surviving are a son, Clint Larsen, and his wife, Wendy, of Otterville; a daughter, Stephanie Brown-Larsen, of Warrensburg; four grandchildren, Chance Larsen, Dustin Brown, Sarea Williams and Izaak Williams; and four brothers, David Larsen, of Parsons, KS, Gary Larsen, of Leawood, KS, Bob Larsen, of Olathe, KS, and Kevin Larsen, of Colorado.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, October 23, at Heckart Funeral Home, with Jeff Page officiating.
Casket bearers will be his brothers.

Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Otterville, with military honors by the U.S. Navy and VFW Post 2591.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time Thursday at Heckart Funeral Home.
