Submit Your Nominations for the 2013 Relay For Life Caregiver of the Year

American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Pettis County are currently accepting nominations for the 2013 Caregiver of the Year.  The Third Annual Caregiver of the Year Award will be presented in honor of an unsung hero who has dedicated themselves to making the lives of those affected by cancer more comfortable and dignified.

Qualified nominees for the award are described as:

A caring and loving person who has helped an individual during their battle with cancer or someone who has made a difference in a family’s life of a cancer patient.

Nominations are submitted by sending a letter explaining how the nominee has helped a cancer patient.  Nominations should be as descriptive as possible and include why the person deserves the award.

The deadline for entries is April 1, 2013.  All nominees and the individual or family that nominates them will be invited to the 2013 Relay for Life on June 1, 2013.   They will participate in the Caregiver Lap, and the winner will be announced during the opening ceremonies of the relay.
