Today is the last day you'll be able to swim at Centennial Pool, as it is officially closing after 51 years of service.

The public is invited to celebrate Centennial Pool's 50th Birthday Saturday, July 30.

I thought I'd let you know now, so you can start building your boats and maybe do a trial run or two before the actual races.

All Centennial Park parking lots will be closed Monday through Friday through the end of September for seal coating and/or striping
