Team and project applications are now available for the Sedalia-Pettis County United Way's annual Day of Caring.

The City of Sedalia is reminding area residents that the application deadline to participate in the United Way's Day of Caring, is quickly approaching.

October 28 is the date for the third annual Day of Caring with the Sedalia-Pettis County United Way. Applications for projects, and team applications, are now available.

The Sedalia-Pettis County United Way is extending the deadline for their “Day of Caring” project applications to July 22, 2016. Thirty teams have signed up to complete projects during this year’s event, scheduled for Oct. 22, 2016, compared to 16 teams last year.

The Sedalia-Pettis County United Way is urging citizens who need help with projects on their property to submit project applications for their second annual "Day of Caring." The event is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016.

The Sedalia-Pettis County United Way will again be sponsoring a Day of Caring event in October. The Day of Caring involves volunteers helping members of the community with one-day projects that they otherwise would not be able to complete on their own.
