Usually around this time of year you have to search for something cool to do. Well, something warm to do that's fun, I guess I should say. It's been so cold out that nobody really wants to spend a huge amount of time outside. That's why we've got the huge Cabin Fever Sports Show, and it's getting closer by the day.

The Angler's Port Marine Cabin Fever Sports Show is less than one week away! It will be February 7 and 8 at the Mathewson Exhibition Center in Sedalia, Mo. Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Feb. 8 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. This year's show will  be one of our best ever...

I know you don't know my job because I do it and not you, but I work on the air here at our broadcasting company.  But I don't just do that - I also do all of the local community calendar listings.  You know, if your church has a bake sale or something, I'm the one who announces it.  Well, the first part of the year is pretty dry for events like that.

With the weather getting better and the days getting longer, it’s the perfect time to get outside. Nature-based activities tend to make people happier, so get outside and get fit.

The Warrensburg Parks and Recreation office has many events gearing up for the Spring and Summertime for the whole family.
