The Results Are In: The Top 5 Stores YOU Want in Sedalia

I asked you, the listeners which stores you would like to see come to Sedalia.  Thanks to everyone for the responses.  Here are the top five stores you said would benefit our community.

1. Hobby Lobby
2. Target
3. Kohl’s
4. Gordman’s
5. Michael’s

Other mentions of note were Sam’s Club, Marshall’s and Old Navy.  All good suggestions!

A couple of people mentioned an indoor mall.   That too isn’t a bad idea.  Sedalia and the surrounding communities could certainly support a small mall.

One person suggested Christie’s Toy Box.  Unfortunately, after the closing of 7th Heaven, the Sedalia City Council passed an ordinance against adult shops.  It seems you’ll still have to travel or shop by internet for those items.

I purposely left restaurants off of this list.  We’ll cover those in the near future.
