Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Friday afternoon in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2013 Ford F-150, driven by 59-year-old William A. Anderson of Clinton, was on US 65, one-half mile south of Mather Road around 4:45 p.m., when the Ford overtook and struck a slow-moving 2009 John Deere tractor, driven by 36-year-old Phillip M. Staus of Sedalia.

After impact, the tractor traveled off the roadway and overturned.

Anderson and Staus both suffered moderate injuries and were transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.
