Welcome to another Throwback Thursday.  My favorite time of the week, from a musical standpoint.  I mean, nothing replaces Friday's right?  We will be scattering Throwback throughout the day today and once again, I thought I would give you a jump start.  This week, we are going back 30 years!  These 10 songs all turn 30 in 2022, and I bet you will remember more of them than you thought you would.

Alabama - I'm In A Hurry    The album was called American Pride.  I remember listening to it often while I was working at Walmart in the electronics department. The harmonies are legendary and they are legends.

Brooks & Dunn - Boot Scootin' Boogie    Has there been a more successful country duo? I can't think of one.  This song never gets old.

Wynonna Judd - I Saw The Light    She went solo after leaving her mom and her debut album was a smash.  This single helped.

Mark Chesnutt - Bubba Shot The Jukebox     Catchy little number from a guy who had a nice sound.  I was always a fan.

George Strait - I Cross My Heart.   King George can sing a ballad can't he?  60 #1 hits.  And this was one of them.

Billy Ray Cyrus - Achy Breaky Heart    Talk about a songs that took over the world.  And that mullet was glorious!  Song was so popular, that Weird Al Yankovic made a parody of it.  Was it overplayed? Maybe.  But it's place in history is secure.

John Anderson - Straight Tequila Night     Singer/songwriter who had a 40+ year career and this song was one of his best.

Mary Chapin Carpenter - I Feel Lucky     David Letterman called her one of his favorite artists and she was as popular in the 90's as anyone.  Title track from her album of the same name.

Sawyer Brown - Some Girls Do   The Star Search winners are still going strong today and this song is always on the set list.

Vince Gill - Don't Let Our Love Start Slippin' Away     He is now a member of The Eagles, and can play guitar with anyone.  He is still a larger than life performer.

Add these songs to your playlist.  Happy Throwback Thursday.
